The link between light, a form, and its shadow is a functional relationship; with light, the form reproduces itself as it is pushed into abstraction projecting a shadow as evidence.

This cycle has continuously fascinated me and has long been a source of inspiration for my research. I work with naturally occurring light forms as well as staged shadows, projections, and reflections in order to explore a diverse set of forms.

While collecting these light forms, I've created a multitude of preservation techniques which allow evolution in meaning and existence. Recently, I’ve strived to focus on logic and calculation by manipulating my production process to highlight the congruences between how we think, create, and the proof of production that lies within a piece.
